Please provide feedback on your school through this parent survey
The Roaring Fork Schools are administering a survey for parents starting February 12 until March 2 to gain feedback about your and your child’s experience with your school and the district at large. This is the second year we are administering the parent survey. You can see last year’s results here.
Why a parent survey?
One of our strategic initiatives is to engage families in a way that fosters enhanced communications, creates welcoming school environments, and provides support. We know that the best way to make sure every student in our school succeeds is to build a strong partnership between families, the school, and the community. This parent survey gives you the opportunity to tell us what our school is doing well to support this partnership and what we can do better.
What is the survey about?
Specifically, the questions seek to understand strengths and areas of improvement for:
- Making families feel welcome in our schools,
- Communicating effectively,
- Supporting students’ success and educational rights,
- Parent input in school and district decisions, and
- Community collaboration.
Individual responses will be anonymous, and feedback will be used by the district and the schools to identify bright spots and needed improvement.
Who should participate?
We are hoping that ALL parents and guardians of Roaring Fork Schools students will take the time to fill out this survey!
How do I participate?
Parents will receive a child-specific link by email and text by February 12 and we’ll ask you to complete one survey for each of your children.
If you’d prefer to take the survey on paper, you can request a copy at the front desk of your student's’ school.
Thank you in advance for your participation!
