• Seniors! The mandatory class photo for the Brimstone will be Thursday, April 27 at lunch.  If you win any categories, your photo will also be the 27th at lunch.
  • Beginning this Wednesday the District Office will be placing WARNINGstickers on students cars that are not authorized to park in the DO parking lot. This announcement is to advise you ahead of time, these stickers have strong adhesive. The DO would like to apologize before hand for any inconvenience that this may cause you. However, they will continue to redirect the students to park in the student's parking lot, or to carpool.

    Would you like to spend time with a child and make a huge difference in their life and in your own AND give back to your community?
    Pals Mentoring through YouthZone might be the answer for you! We are looking for teens at GSHS to become Teen Pals Mentors for children in our communities.
    There will be a table in the GSHS lobby at 2:00 on early release April 12th, 19th & 26th.
    Stop by the table, talk to some of the current GSHS Teen Pals Mentors and see if this is an opportunity you’d like to think about!

  • CMC's Magic Club is playing Magic: The Gathering this Friday after school at the CMC Glenwood Center in room 209, and we would like to invite anyone from your school to join us. We will be playing commander, standard, modern, casual, and any other format you would like to see! There will be food and drinks and a good time for anyone who wants to show up! We hope to see you there!
  • Freshman, sophomores & parents interested in learning about a full ride scholarship plus housing to CU Boulder?  Come learn about the Chick Evans Scholarship for Caddies at a meeting on April 18th @ 6:30 pm in the DECA room.

    ELIGIBILITY AND EVALUATION CRITERIA: To be eligible to apply for a Chick Evans Scholarship for caddies, candidates must meet the following requirements: 1. Strong caddie record: Applicants must have caddied, successfully and regularly, for a minimum of two years and are expected to caddie at the Roaring Fork Club the year they apply for the Scholarship. 2. Excellent academics: Applicants must have completed their junior year of high school with above a B average in college preparatory courses and are required to take the ACT. 3. Demonstrated financial need: Applicants must clearly have a need for financial assistance. 4. Outstanding character: Applicants must be outstanding in character, integrity, and leadership. Applicants are evaluated and compete on the above criteria for the limited number of Chick Evans Scholarships awarded annually.
