Pickup of Chromebooks or Missing Items at School
If your son or daughter has left something at school or needs a replacement Chromebook, we need to know this ASAP. Please tell your Crew teacher or email growe@rfschools.com and we will get Chromebooks checked out for you. Students and parents will not be permitted to enter the school. Those GSHS staff members checking out Chromebooks will be wearing masks and gloves, and using Lysol wipes on all items prior to bagging them in plastic bags and labeling them for students. On Monday, April 6, and Tuesday, April 7, between 1pm and 2:30pm you can drive to the drop-off area on the South side of the school (Main Office side)and wait in your car curbside in front of GSHS. A staff member will come to you; again, please do not enter the school. Please make contact with your Crew teacher or Ms. Rowe by 2 pm on Friday 4/3 to have a chromebook and charger waiting for you Monday or Tuesday.

  • ALL Non-Essential Activities CANCELLED
CHSAA has announced that all spring sports and activities (including practices) will be suspended at least until April 30 to address concerns surrounding the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The situation will be monitored and evaluated with key decision-makers from around the state to determine when, or if, to resume the spring season. State Mock Trial was also cancelled.

The moratorium began March 12 for all RFSD schools.
  • GSHS is closed through Thursday, April 30
In consultation with Garfield County Public Health, all Roaring Fork Schools will be canceled from Monday, March 16. Closing our schools is a precaution against spreading COVID-19 in our communities.

This closure means that the Roaring Fork Schools will be closed for the next several weeks. Additionally, this closure will give our custodial team additional time to deep clean our schools. At this time, we are anticipating reopening schools on April 30; further school closure determinations will be made in consultation with public health authorities. We will monitor this situation closely as it unfolds over the coming weeks and will communicate our plans.
  • Student-Led Conferences Cancelled
We regret that Student-Led Conferences will not be possible for the foreseeable future in the light of current circumstances, due to the restrictions governing social interaction.

Lamentamos que las conferencias dirigidas por estudiantes no serán posibles en el futuro previsible a la luz de las circunstancias actuales, debido a las restricciones que rigen la interacción social.
