Host an Exchange Student

Be an ambassador! The Glenwood Springs Sunset Rotary Club is looking for a Host Family for our exchange student from Sweden. The hosting would be about 2.5 to 3 months long and take place from just after this Thanksgiving 2025 until Mid-February 2026. Worried about travel during the holidays? We can work to accommodate that.

Imagine seeing our Mountain community through the eyes of a young person from another country. By opening your heart and home, you can create a life-changing experience, not just for this student, but for you, your entire family and our community. Build a relationship that will continue long after your hosting period ends.

Final exam schedule

On days when road conditions are hazardous in the early morning but are forecasted to improve, Roaring Fork Schools will implement a two-hour delay to allow students and staff more time to reach school safely. We will still cancel school and call a full snow day when travel conditions are hazardous and not forecasted to improve. For more information, read the Inclement Weather: Delayed Start FAQs. There will NOT be delayed starts on Wednesdays.
