School Closed FRIday

Because of staff absences on Friday, January 30, we are unable to guarantee sufficient supervision to maintain student safety. As a result, Glenwood Springs High School will be closed Friday Jan 30, 2026. All after-school activities, including athletics and theater are also cancelled. School will resume as normal on Monday. Thank you for your understanding.

Delayed Start Info • Snow Days 2026

On days when road conditions are hazardous in the early morning but are forecasted to improve, Roaring Fork Schools will implement a two-hour delay to allow students and staff more time to reach school safely. We will still cancel school and call a full snow day when travel conditions are hazardous and not forecasted to improve.
